Hana Road
Some local residents along the Hana road make a living selling home grown tropical fruit. A great natural treat! All along the road to Hana are flower and fruit stands. Some are manned while others are not and based on the honor system. The prices of the flowers or fruits are posted on the buckets with a separate can for you to place the money into. Though this system would not work along most roadways in the world it has been working well for many, many years here on Maui. Your guide knows which fruits and flowers are best to buy.
