The Ke'anae Arboretum hosts a delightful (0.5 one-way) stroll through an exotic botanical garden. The Ke'anae Peninsula, created from an immense lava flow from Haleakala Crater, provides home for a few local residents, taro fields, great fishing, and great photo opportunities for powerful waves crashing against black, jagged, lava rocks.
